Scot Morrell, a 1985 honors graduate with majors both in Economics and Mathematics, was a member of the Potsdam Swim Team. A four time All-American, Morrell was a former record holder of the college’s and SUNYAC’s 100-yard and 200-yard Backstroke.
In addition to his SUNY Potsdam degree, Morrell holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law where he graduated Cum Laude in May of 1991. He served as an Assistant Attorney General with the Office of the Attorney General of Maryland since 1993.
Prior to his appointment as an Assistant Attorney General, Morrell was a Law Clerk with the Maryland State Highway Administration. He and his wife Amy have three children- Rebecca, Anna, and Caitlin
