POTSDAM, N.Y. – Sophomore men's soccer player Leo Hector (Dix Hills, N.Y./Dix Hills East) and senior women's soccer player Madison Wagner (Chittenango, N.Y./Chittenango) have been named SUNY Potsdam Athletes of the Week for the week ending October 11.

Hector scored the Bears' goal of the week in a 2-1 loss to Morrisville, the first of his collegiate career.

Wagner tripled her offensive output this week, with four goals and an assist in two matches. She drew and converted a penalty and assisted on the opening goal in Wednesday's 5-0 Route 11 Rivalry win over Canton. The forward then recorded her first career hat trick in the 4-1 win at Morrisville. She currently leads the team with six goals.
