On Tuesday, Howard became the seventh player in Potsdam women’s basketball history to reach the 1000-point plateau. In three games last week she averaged 12.7 ppg. and 7.3 rebounds-per-game. The forward scored 12 points and grabbed five boards in a loss to Plattsburgh on Tuesday. She had eight points and five rebounds in a loss to Geneseo on Friday. On Saturday, Howard recorded her 10th double-double of the season with 18 points and 11 rebounds in a 61-51 victory over Brockport. She now has 1,034 points and ranks sixth in program history in scoring. She needs just 31 points to claim fourth place in the all-time ranks. Howard also ranks fourth for the Bears in rebounding with 682.
