Tiede played a part in three of the men's soccer team's five goals at the Northwestern Mutual Cardinal Classic over the weekend. The midfielder scored Potsdam's first goal of the season, and his first career goal, in a 3-0 win over Baruch College on Friday afternoon. He then assisted on both Bears' goals in a 2-2 tie with Manhattanville College on Saturday. He is currently tied for the team lead in scoring with a goal and two assists for four points.
