Layer helped the Bears to a 1-1 week, recording four kills, three service aces, 28 digs, and 59 assists. The setter began the weekend with two aces, three kills, 12 digs, and 24 assists against Buffalo State on Friday. On Saturday, she had a season-high 16 digs, a kill, an ace, and 35 assists as the Bears beat Fredonia 3-2. She currently leads the team in service aces (23) and assists (309). In SUNYAC, she ranks 9th overall in assists.
