Werber’s performance in goal helped the Bears to a 2-0 SUNYAC weekend. His 1.50 goals-against-average and .959 save percentage catapulted Potsdam into fourth place in the conference. In a win at No. 14 Cortland on Friday, the goaltender stopped 46 of 48 shots as the Bears upset the Red Dragons 4-2. Saturday at Morrisville, he made 25 saves, just missing a shutout by two minutes as the Bears defeated the Mustangs 5-1.
