Costello set a new program record for career ground balls with 316 and counting. He was 38-41 (92.7%) in the faceoff circle between the two games, tallying 31 ground balls, two goals, and an assist. The captain was a perfect 26-26 on faceoffs against Alfred State on Wednesday, and had a goal, an assist, and 23 ground balls. In Saturday’s win over Brockport, the midfielder was 12-15 on faceoffs, adding a goal and eight ground balls.
