Frederick pushed the Bears passed the Thoroughbreds to take the 116-112 win for the women in the season opener at Maxcy Hall Pool. The freshman got her first two wins of her collegiate career in the one-meter dive with a score of 192.70 and the three-meter dive with a score of 190.95. For her efforts, Darien Frederick is the Bears' Female Athlete of the Week.
