Zimmerman ended his season with the Bears last Tuesday as SUNY Poly outlasted SUNY Potsdam in the NECC Quarterfinals. The outside hitter led Potsdam, matching his and the program's record with 24 kills along with three aces and nine digs. Zimmerman has stood out for the Bears all season. The senior led the team in kills (353) and kills-per-set (3.53) and ranks second and fourth in the conference in those categories. He also led the Bears and was second in the NECC in service aces (47) and is second in on the team and fourth in the league in digs with 180. These impressive stats earned Zimmerman first team all-conference honors.
