Petty earned the school record for the men's decathlon as he qualified for the SUNYAC Championships in the event with a score of 4099, he now ranks ninth in conference's performance list. He topped his own Potsdam mark in the 110M hurdles, finishing third with a time of 19.67. He became Potsdam's first ever pole vaulter with a height of 1.90m he placed sixth. Petty was far from done, he finished seventh in the 100M with a Potsdam fifth best time of 12.05. He was fourth in the 400M with Potsdam's fourth best time of 54.81. He was eighth in the javelin with the program's eighth best distance of 25.71m. Petty rounded out his day finishing seventh in the high jump with a height of 1.58m, good for the Bears' sixth best mark.
