The Cardinals stayed in control for the remainder of the contest adding a goal in the second period and two more in the third. Justine Fisher increased Plattsburgh's lead to 5-1 at 10:45 of the second period. Meade scored her second of the game on the power play at 4:24 of the final stanza and Kara Buehler tacked on the final goal at the 11:17.

Dawna Salvarinas (Mississauga, Ontario/Brampton Thunder) finished with 44 saves, while Cardinal Sydney Aveson stopped 18 shots. Potsdam was 1-4 on the power play and Plattsburgh went 1-8.
Potsdam returns home for two crucial conference games against Neumann College on Feb. 12-13. The Bears square off against the Knights at 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
