The Bengals brought pressure early in the third period to tie the game. Less than two minutes later, McCamey finished a perfect pass from Rivera to make it 3-2 at 3:08. Sophomore forward

At the 7:02 mark, Potsdam got its fourth goal of the night from Rivera after Caligiuri lofted a high pass ahead. Then with two minutes to go, the Bengals pulled freshman goalie Ian Sylves (Sloan, N.Y./John F. Kennedy) and went on the attack to close the gap, but the Bears sealed the win when senior forward
Trevor Cope (Swartz Creek, Mich./Atlanta Jr. Knights) hit senior captain
Ken Simon (Norwell, Mass./Philadelphia Revolution) with a cross ice pass for an empty-net insurance tally.
Junior goalie
