POTSDAM, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam men's hockey team will its third annual Military Appreciation Night during its Nov. 7 contest with SUNY Fredonia.

All veterans, active duty personnel, National Guard and reservists will receive free admission to the contest. Operation Military Support, an SGA sponsored organization, and the Army and Air Force ROTCs will be present at tonight's game.

The Bears appreciate the sacrifices of the men and women of the armed services and have built a close relationship with the ROTC in recent seasons. The College as a whole was also recently honored again by Victory Media and named a Military-Friendly School in G.I. Jobs magazine.

Fans are also encouraged to come out in force Friday night for the Buffalo State contest as the hockey team holds Spirit Night. Fans are urged to show their creativity as the best demonstration of Potsdam Spirit will win them prizes. First place is a $250 gift card, followed by $100 and $50 gift cards for second and third.

Both games start at 7 p.m.
