Secret Clark (Bronx, N.Y./NYC Charter for AECI) led the Bears with eight points, while Caroline Dalton had nine for the Saints.
A fast start by St. Lawrence had the Saints up 18-6 after the first quarter. With more strong defense in the second quarter, SLU took a 31-12 advantage into the locker room at the half. Potsdam shot the ball better in the second half, but wasn't able to make up ground in the third quarter. The Bears outscored SLU 16-10 in the final 10 minutes, thanks to five points from freshman guard
Janay Smith (Bronx, N.Y./Wings Academy) and four from Clark.

St. Lawrence controlled the boards with a 54-31 rebounding advantage, but Potsdam forced 31 Saint turnovers.
The Bears look to finished the semester on a strong note when they host Elmira College at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
