CANTON, N.Y.--The SUNY Potsdam equestrian team wrapped up its season at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Zone 2 Region 2 Championship at St. Lawrence University yesterday.

Senior Ellen Norton (Fishkill, N.Y./John Jay East) finished fifth in the intermediate flat competition. Junior Rose Wendling (Burnt Hills, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) also rode to fifth in walk, trot. Senior Kali Jarvis (Canastota, N.Y./Cazenovia) finished seventh in novice jumps.

While the current Bears season is complete, alum Alexa Basile '13 qualified for the upcoming zone championships with a second place finish in alumni jumps.
