Box Score 2 POTSDAM, N.Y.- The SUNY Potsdam Volleyball team (4-5) fall to Ramapo College (4-1) and University of Scranton (11-3) on Day 1 of the Roadrunner Invitational at the Bradley Center. The Bears were shutout in the opener against the Roadrunners 3-0 and were defeated by the Royal 3-0.

Rachel Topf (Eagle River, Alaska/Chugiak) finished with nine kills and six digs. Freshman setter
Brianna Rodda (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem East) recorded 20 assists and 14 digs, while junior libero
Sloane Campbell (Scotia, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) made 22 digs during the contest. Junior libero
Maddie Paquin (Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury) added 13 digs for the defense.

During their second match with Scranton, Potsdam battled through three sets before falling to the Royals (18-25, 18-25, 16-25). Topf recorded another nine kills with sophomore setter
Kelsea Healis (San Diego, Calif./Rancho Cotate) and junior outside hitter
Stephanie Maddox (Anaheim, Calif./Cornelia Connelly) pitching in five each. Campbell contributed 23 digs and Rodda tallied 22 assists during the matchup.

Potsdam will face St. Joseph's tomorrow at 11 a.m. and Itaca College at 1 p.m. during Day 2 of the Roadrunner Invitational.
