SKIDMORE, N.Y.- The SUNY Potsdam volleyball team (13-16) fell to Skidmore College (15-15) on Friday night at the Skidmore Invitational. The Thoroughbreds took down the Bears in three straight sets, 19-25, 16-25, 25-27.

Kelsey Tompkins (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) led Potsdam's offense with 10 kills and added two digs and three blocks. Sophomore setter
Brianna Rodda (Holbrook, N.Y/Sachem East) handed out 24 assists and defensively finished with 13 digs, while freshman outside hitter
Gabrielle Scott (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) had four kills and nine digs on the night. Senior outside hitter
Stephanie Maddox (Anaheim, Calif./Burroughs) added four aces, four kills and four digs, while senior libero
Sloane Campbell (Scotia N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) rounded out the defense with seven digs.

The Bears are back action tomorrow against Ithaca College at 10 a.m. followed by Union College at 2 p.m. to close out their season.
