SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam volleyball team (12-18) fell to UMass Boston (12-15) 3-1 before defeating Sage (8-24) 3-0 on the final day of the Skidmore Invitational. Senior captain
Kelsea Healis (Rohnert Park, Calif./Rancho Cotate) led the Bears with 18 kills and totaled 18 digs. Healis was also named to the all all-tournament team.
The Bears opened the day taking the first set 25-20 against UMB. The Beacons stormed back and take the rest of the sets 25-22, 25-22, and 25-19. Healis had eight kills and 11 digs. Senior captain
Rachel Topf (Eagle River, Alaska/Chugiak) tallied 11 digs, seven kills, and two aces. Junior captain
Brianna Rodda (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem East) led with 24 assists and added eight digs, while senior outside hitter Kelsey Tomkins (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) contributed eight kills and four blocks.
In the finale, the Bears rolled past Sage 25-12, 25-21, and 25-19. Healis led with 11 kills and totaled seven digs. Tompkins had 10 kills and a block. Rodda led the Bears with four aces and 32 assists, and freshman middle hitter

Monica Mack (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) added seven kills and two blocks, while senior defensive specialist
Whitney Coyle (Middletown, N.Y./Minisink Valley) had 10 digs.
The contest marks the ends of the careers of Potsdam's five seniors, Coyle, Healis, Topf, Tompkins and
Megan Smith (Ridgecrest, Calif./Burroughs).
