MORRISVILLE, N.Y.—Morrisville State (6-10, 3-7 SUNYAC) defeated the SUNY Potsdam men's hockey team (7-8-3, 3-6 SUNYAC) 6-1 on Saturday night. Six different Mustangs scored in the contest. Freshman forward
Brett Horn (Cary, N.C./Humboldt Broncos) scored for the Bears.
As in last night's game, Morrisville scored twice in the opening period. Aidan Connolly put the Mustangs up for good with a goal at the 3:25 mark and Nick DeVito struck at 14:12.
Morrisville added three more in the second period, all the goals coming in a 3:03 span. Nick Sacco made it 3-0 at 15:15. Ian Wood scored at 17:16 and Rick Eberhart extended the lead to 5-0 at 18:18.
CJ Stubbs tacked on a sixth goal on the power play at 2:09 of the third period. Horn broke up the shutout at the 5:11 mark with assists from sophomore forward
Bryce Ferrell (Buffalo, N.Y./Buffalo Jr. Sabres) and freshman forward
Jacob Juron (Latham, N.Y./South Shore Kings).

Brendan McMenimen (Merrimack, Mass./Islander Hockey Club) made 23 saves on the night. Jared Young stopped 30 shots for the win.
Potsdam outshot Morrisville 31-29 and was 0-for-7 on the power play. The Mustangs were 1-for-6 on the man advantage.
The Bears are back in action on Bear Pride Night this Friday as they host No. 8 SUNY Geneseo at 7 p.m.
