Ashley-Lee Burrowes (Brentwood, N.Y./Brentwood) had three goals and an assist. Senior attack
Alli Stark (Walworth, N.Y./Gananda) also scored three goals.
Burrowes opened the scoring with a man-up, free-position goal 3:27 into the contest. The marker started a 6-0 run and Potsdam never looked back. Ferrer scored two in the run and Stark, junior midfielder
Zoe Morgenroth (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) and junior midfielder Kiera Thacker (Oakville, Ontario/T.A. Blakelock) also found the back of the net for the six-goal lead at 17:55. At 14:20, Express junior defender Alisa Hines (Freeville, N.Y./Dryden) slowed the momentum, but Thacker, Burrowes and Ferrer answered in succession for a 9-1 lead at 5:14. Ferrer buried her fourth, while Potsdam was a man-up 58 seconds into the second half to start a 6-1 stretch and seal the fate of the Express. Stark scored twice during the run and Reitano, Burrowes and Morgenroth also scored to put Potsdam up 16-5 with 9:55 left. Freshmen midfielders Kari Jensen (Waterloo, N.Y./Waterloo) and Aarika Mansfield (Corning, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post) scored the final two goals of the game for the Express to close the 16-7 final.

Olivia Woolheater (Remsen, N.Y./Remsen) made three saves for her first win as a Bear. Sophomore goalie Delaney Kendrick (Cohoes, N.Y./Cohoes) made eight saves for the Express.

Jensen led Wells with three goals and an assist to go along with a game-high 10 draw controls.
