Caroline LaFountain (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) posted the second double-double of her career with 12 points and 14 rebounds.
The Bears started the opening quarter on a 5-0 run in the first 8:33. LaFountain scored on a layup while junior guard
Madison McCormick (Heuvelton, N.Y./Heuvelton) added a 3-pointer. Both teams continued to trade baskets until 2:44 when Potsdam went on an 8-0 run that started off a 3-point make from sophomore guard

Xy'El Bradford (Syracuse, N.Y./Syracuse Academy of Science) netted four points in the last minute as the Bears took the 22-13 advantage after one.
Potsdam forced six Golden Knight turnovers resulting in the Bears roaring to a 22-11 run in the second quarter. LaFountain led the way with six points off two triples while Barnell and McCormick both added five and four points, respectively. The Bears took a commanding 44-24 lead into the half.
The Bears continued to showcase their dominant offensive performance throughout the third quarter, putting up an additional 16 points during that stretch. Barnell secured a layup to give Potsdam a 29-point lead at the 1:48 mark. This proved to be the Bears largest lead of the night. Junior forward
Alyson Crosby (Brier Hill, N.Y./Hammond) led the scoring surge with seven points as Potsdam led 60-31 after 30 minutes.
Two different players scored for the Bears during the final quarter. Barnell netted six points while sophomore guard
Patience Riley (Troy, N.Y./Lansingburgh) earned two points as the Bears put on a dominant performance in their 68-41 victory over the Golden Knights.
Bradford accumulated 14 points on the night while Crosby chipped in 11 to round out the scoring effort for the Bears. Potsdam forced a total of 17 turnovers while holding the Golden Knights to a mere 35% from the field.
The Bears are back in action this Friday, November 19, when they face off against Route 11 rival SUNY Canton at the Roos House at 6 p.m.
