Megan Fish (Getzville, N.Y./Williamsville North) became the ninth Bear in program history to reach 100 hits, with a perfect 5-for-5 afternoon.
In game one, the Red Dragons scored eight in the first, one in the second and five in the third. Potsdam got on the board in the bottom of the fifth with RBI singles from Fish and a sacrifice fly from senior second baseman

Cortland graduate centerfielder Kelly O'Gorman (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) was 2-for-4 with three runs and three RBI. Senior catcher Cailey Cuttita (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) was 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI. Senior shortstop Taylor Felicello (Marlboro, N.Y./Marlboro) was 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI and junior first baseman Lexi Szesnat (Colonie, N.Y./Colonie) rounded out the leaders by going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Fish was a perfect 3-for-3 and sophomore centerfielder
Anna Grottola (Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Connetquot) was 2-for-3 with a run. Junior shortstop
Vanessa Brandt (Saugerties, N.Y./Saugerties) and Brown also had a hit each.
Red Dragon senior pitcher Karlee Weeden (Maybrook, N.Y./Valley Central) (7-1) allowed four hits and struck out five in four scoreless innings. Junior Isabel Milazzo (Elmira, N.Y./Elmira Notre Dame) allowed two runs on three hits in the fifth inning.
Freshman
Anna Brown (Ellenburg Depot, N.Y./Northern Adirondack) (0-2) went the distance for the Bears allowing eight earned runs on 13 hits, while striking out three.
Game two opened with three Cortland runs in the top of the first. The Bears countered with two in the bottom of the inning on a double from Fish that scored Brandt and a single from junior first baseman
Abby Vaughn (Apalachin, N.Y./Owego Free Academy) that plated Fish. The Dragons then seized control with a seven-run second. They added one in the fourth and seven unearned runs in the fifth with the big blast coming on a grand slam off the bat of junior first baseman Meg Peace (New Paltz, N.Y./Kingston).
Felicello continued her big day going 4-for-5 with three runs and an RBI. Cuttita did the same with a 3-for-4 night cap along with three runs and two RBI. Szesnat was 2-for-3 with two runs and three RBI. Junior right fielder Megan Weber (Lockport, N.Y./Lockport) finished 3-for-4 with two runs and three RBI and junior third baseman Alyssa Finno (Hurley, N.Y./Kingston) was a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.
Fish was 2-for-2 with a run and an RBI to lead Potsdam again. Brandt, Vaughn, Brown and senior third baseman
Sydney Miller (Hoosick Falls, N.Y./Hoosick Falls) each had a hit.
Cortland senior pitcher Courtney Kane (Yaphank, N.Y./Bellport) (6-2) picked up the win, allowing two runs on six hits and four strike outs in four innings. Junior pitcher Lindsey Richards (Liverpool, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) struck out two in a perfect fifth inning.
Fish (0-3) allowed 11 earned runs on 17 hits in 3.2 innings pitched before a line drive to the ankle forced her out of the game.
Anna Brown went the final 1.1 innings and allowed seven unearned runs on five hits.
The Bears wrap up the season on Saturday when they host Oneonta State for two beginning at 2 p.m.
