The teams battled through a scoreless first half with Gordon and Saints keeper Keely Snode making three saves apiece. St. Lawrence earned three corners in the first half.
SLU got on the board first in the 61st minute. Duun Cocozza O'Hara struck at 60:21 with a helper from Emma Casey. von Ahn got the Bears even nearly 10 minutes later as she buried a feed from Bowie at 70:10. Just over six minutes later O'Hara netted the eventual game-winner with an assist from Maille McMahon. McMahon then gave the Saints some insurance with the game's final tally at 81:41 with an assist from Mia Cence.
Darcie McDonough played the second half in goal for SLU and earned the win with two saves.
The Bears now head to SUNY Poly on Saturday for a 2 p.m. contest with the Wildcats.
