Savannah Bowie (Mechanicville, N.Y./Mechanicville) made six saves for the Bears.
The first half was a defensive grudge match, with the teams combining for just nine shots. The Lakers struck first at 28:01. Brianna Winkler buried a feed from Amber McDermott into the lower left corner of the goal. Bowie made two saves in the first half and Oswego goalie Perri Anderson stopped one shot.
The Lakers overpowered the Bears in the second half. Katie Delgrosso extended the Lakers' lead to 2-0 at 54:51. At 85:46, Lexie Thompson closed the scoring, making it 3-0 with an assist from Maggie Riordan. Bowie was solid in the second half as well with four more stops.
Anderson finished with one save for the shutout.
The Bears are back in action on Wednesday when they host SUNY Oneonta at 4 p.m.
