SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.— The SUNY Potsdam women's volleyball team (15-13) fell to both RIT (13-16) 0-3 (21-25, 23-25, 14-25) and Skidmore (10-15) 1-3 (21-25, 25-23, 18-25, 23-23) on the final day of the Skidmore Invitational. 
  
Against RIT, senior outside hitter Mikayla Myers (Gloversville, N.Y./Mayfield) had eight kills, two blocks and one assist. Senior outside hitter Abygail Olejnik (Bakersfield, Calif./Bakersfield) had eight kills, and 11 digs. Senior setter Colleen Murphy (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) recorded 17 assists and three aces.
 
For the Tigers, sophomore Middle Liv Benard (Fort Salonga, N.Y./Kings Park) recorded 12 kills, one ace, and one assist. Graduate Student Calista Gasper (Sarver, Pa./Freeport) had nine kills and four blocks for RIT, while junior defensive specialist Hailey Blixt (Chandler, Ariz./Arizona College Prep) had 15 digs. Junior setter Sydney Neff (Delmar, N.Y./Academy of the Holy names) had 36 assists against the Bears  
 
In the finale against the Thoroughbreds, senior outside hitter Jessica Ader (Highland Mills, N.Y./Monroe-Woodbury) recorded 11 kills and one ace. Olejnik had nine kills, and 11 digs, while senior outside hitter Mackenzie Fischer (Cottekill, N.Y./Rondout Valley) 23 digs. Murphy finished the match with 25 assists.  
  
Senior middle blocker Alex Estey (West San Diego, Calif./The Bishop's School) had a team-high 12 kills for Skidmore. Junior middle Sophie Sacco (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna) had nine kills, and three blocks, while senior setter Audrey Powell (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif./Palos Verdes) posted 27 assists. Senior libero Bella Klosterman (Portland, Ore./Lincoln) had 21 digs against the Bears. 
  
This weekend wraps up the Potsdam women's volleyball season. The contests marks the final contests in the careers of seniors Ader, Olejnik, Meyer, Murphy, Fischer, Enma Bautista (East Patchogue, N.Y./Bellport, and Marley Hawthorne (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs).
