POTSDAM, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam women's soccer team (4-4) had six different goal scorers in a 6-0 blowout of SUNY Cobleskill (1-3-2) on Sunday afternoon. Senior forward Mackenzie Bowie (Mechanicville, N.Y./Mechanicville) and junior midfielder Brigid Clark (Wynantskill, N.Y./Averill Park) each recorded a goal and an assist.

Sophomore forward Sarah Emmi (Huntington, N.Y./John Glenn) opened the scoring at 13:42, flicking home a feed from freshman midfielder Emily Jordan (Lisbon, N.Y./Lisbon). Just 51 seconds later, freshman forward Meg Napoleon (Lyons, N.Y./Newark) knocked home a pass from sophomore midfielder Leah Karabaich (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads). Potsdam took the 2-0 lead into the break.

The Bears broke open the contest with four second half goals. Just 1:39 into the final 45 minutes, Bowie scored on a long shot from just outside the left corner of the box off a touch from sophomore midfielder Mikayla Shipley (North Chili, N.Y./Churchville-Chili) to make it 3-0. Senior midfielder Shayna Lenney (East Greenbush, N.Y./Columbia) scored on a long rocket into the right corner at 54:10. Sophomore forward Hailey von Ahn (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) beat Fighting Tigers sophomore goalie Alexis Minnoe (Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) between the wickets after a pass from Clark at 68:41. Clark then closed the scoring on a long shot from the right side at 77:39.

Senior goalie Chloe Gordon (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) didn't need a save to pick up the shutout victory. Minnoe finished with nine stops for Cobleskill.

The Bears outshot the Fighting Tigers 30-2 and had a 9-1 advantage in corner kicks.
