Jessica Ader (Highland Mills, N.Y./Monroe-Woodbury) led the Bears with nine kills and 18 digs.
The Saints took set one 25-14, outlasted Potsdam 32-30 in set two and clinched the victory with a 25-22 win set three. Senior outside hitter
Mikayla Myers (Gloversville, N.Y./Mayfield) had five kills and seven digs and junior outside hitter
Sophia Rowny (Glennville, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) posted four kills. Senior setter
Colleen Murphy (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) contributed 12 assists and senior outside hitter
Abygail Olejnik (Bakersfield, Calif./Bakersfield) added nine digs. Freshman setter
Sophia Layer (Winthrop, N.Y./Potsdam) rounded out the leaders with eight assists.
Julia Giroux had a match-best 19 kills and 13 digs for SLU. Lainey Roman registered 12 kills and eight digs. Rachel Boudreau had six kills and a block. Lily Snide contributed 37 assists and 15 digs. Katrina Henrich added 11 digs.
The Bears look to bounce back when they host SUNY New Paltz on Friday at 6 p.m.
