Owen Walsh (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) recorded three goals to lead the Bears offense.
Owen Walsh got the Bears on the board first at the 11:36 mark in the opening quarter. Oneonta scored the next six goals to put the Red Dragons up 6-1 at 1:07. With the clock ticking down and the quarter set to expire, junior attackman
Cobie Cree (Akwesasne, N.Y./Salmon River) drove in and made an unassisted goal with ten seconds to go.
Owen Walsh then netted his second goal of the quarter off a find from freshman faceoff specialist
Drew Costello (Ogdensburg, N.Y./Ogdensburg Free Academy) with four seconds remaining. Oneonta took a 6-3 lead after 15 minutes.
The Red Dragons poured on the offense in the second quarter, scoring five goals to take an 11-3 advantage into the half.

Noah Strader (Ogdensburg, N.Y./Ogdensburg Free Academy) scored back-to-back goals in the first four minutes of the third quarter off assists from sophomore midfielder

Bryce Tyler (Camden, Maine/Camden Hills), respectively. Oneonta netted three unanswered goals to close out the third quarter up 14-5.
The Walsh brothers took over the scoring for the Bears in the final quarter. Senior captain
Peyton Walsh (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) sent a lightning strike past the Oneonta defense at 13:16 and
Owen Walsh netted his third goal of the game at the 8:54 mark to get the Bears to within seven. The Red Dragons went on another 2-0 run with two minutes remaining to close out the home victory for Oneonta.
Junior goalie
Liam O'Neil (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) made eight saves and allowed 10 goals in the first 20:35 for the Bears. Freshman
Saka Thompson (Akwesasne, N.Y./Salmon River) allowed seven goals and made eight saves to close out the game. Harrison Boukas stopped nine shots and allowed seven goals for the Red Dragons to earn the win.
Jamie O'Neil led Oneonta offensively with seven goals and two assists. Owen Vail complimented his teammate with four goals to round out the leaders for the Red Dragons.
Costello went 7-13 in the faceoff circle for Potsdam. Sophomore defender
Ben Welch (Webster, N.Y./Webster-Thomas) registered six ground balls and
Cobie Cree caused two turnovers for the Bears.
The Bears are back in action on Tuesday when they host cross-town rival Clarkson University at 7 p.m. at the Maxcy Turf Field.
