ELMIRA, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam men's volleyball team (2-5) rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Thiel College (2-4) 3-2 on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore outside hitter Duncan Tenhagen (Buffalo, N.Y./West Seneca West) and junior middle hitter Matt Kilinski (Greenfield Center, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) each had 13 kills and six digs along with four blocks for Kilinski.
 
The Bears fell 25-14 and 25-23 in the first two sets. They then rallied for 25-18, 25-17 and 15-10 victories. Freshman outside hitter Darius Dorsey-Rhule (Elmont, N.Y./Elmont Memorial) recorded a career-high nine kills. Senior captain Michael Anderson (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) had 29 assists and senior opposite Zaire Rogers (Cheektowaga, N.Y./Cheektowaga) posted eight digs and four blocks. Senior libero Tom Shemik (Grand Island, N.Y./Grand Island) had 15 digs and freshman setter Alex Lombardo (East Hampton, N.Y./East Hampton) totaled 21 assists. Freshman outside hitter Jesse Schwartz (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Sutherland) rounded out the leaders with four aces.
 
The Bears are back in action on Friday at Buffalo State for a 4 p.m. match.
