POTSDAM, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam women's soccer team (4-13, 2-7 SUNYAC) scored twice in the first half and it was the difference in a 2-1 win over Morrisville State (1-12-2, 1-8) in the teams' season finale. Prior to the contest, the Bears honored seniors

HOW IT HAPPPENED
- Tycott scored her fifth goal of the season just 5:06 into the contest with an assist from von Ahn and Burns.
- Kohls scored her first of the season at 13:31 and it proved to be the game-winner.
- In the 64th minute, junior forward Callie LaFontaine (Chaumont, N.Y./Lyme) got the Mustangs on the board with an assist from freshman midfielder Jaidon Brodie (Mt. Vision, N.Y./Laurens).
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Potsdam outshot Morrisville 28-6 and finished with an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks.
- Sophomore goalie Caroline Vines (Irondequoit, N.Y./Irondequoit) made two saves for her fourth career win.
- Freshman keeper Kayle Roberts (Deansboro, N.Y./Waterville) made 11 saves for the Mustangs.
- The Bears are now 6-0 in the all-time series with Morrisville. The game marked the first time the teams have met since 2010.
The Bears finish their season with a 4-13 overall record and a 2-7 mark in SUNYAC play.
