Peyton Walsh got the Bears off to a 3-0 start in the first 5:38 of the contest. A spinning move from Kangaroos junior attackman Caeden Goodnough (Adams, N.Y./South Jefferson) closed the gap to 3-1. However, Potsdam ran away with the contest after the goal with a 12-0 run. Senior midfielder Carter Pooler (Adams Center, N.Y./South Jefferson) scored Canton's other goal.

Sophomore Hayden Todd (Canton, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams) made 18 saves and allowed 15 goals in three quarters for Canton. Senior Sam Servati (Rochester, N.Y./Gates-Chili) made six saves and allowed a goal in the fourth quarter.
Peyton Walsh now has 158 points on 116 goals and 42 assists, moving him into seventh place on Potsdam's all-time scoring lists.
The Bears are back in action Saturday, when they host SUNY Oneonta to open SUNYAC play at 1 p.m.
