Duncan Tenhagen (Buffalo, N.Y./West Seneca West) had another strong day for the Bears with nine kills, three aces and 11 digs.
Potsdam breezed past the Gators 25-9 in the opening set before having to battle down to the wire for 25-22 and 26-24 wins in the last two. Junior middle hitter
Matt Kilinski (Greenfield Center, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) had eight kills and three blocks. Freshman outside hitter
Darius Dorsey-Rhule (Elmont, N.Y./Elmont Memorial) posted five kills, seven digs and two blocks. Senior captain
Michael Anderson (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) had 21 assists, while freshman setter
Alex Lombardo (East Hampton, N.Y./East Hampton) chipped in six more to go with three aces.
Graduate student outside hitter Jarod Martel (Albany, N.Y./Colonie) paced Sage with 12 kills and seven digs. Senior opposite Wylkins Occelin (Brooklyn, N.Y./John Dewey) had nine kills and five digs. Junior middle hitter Marcus Gentile (Delmar, N.Y./Bethlehem Central) registered eight kills, two aces and a block. Junior setter Jack McWilliam (Fishkill, N.Y./Arlington) added 28 assists and freshman outside hitter Dylan Fox (Albany, N.Y./Colonie) rounded out the leaders with six digs.
The Bears wrap up the regular season next weekend at Fisher College in Boston.
