UTICA, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam track and field teams recorded 11 program top-10 performances at the Utica University Winter Opener on Saturday.
 
Junior Madison Wagner (Chittenango, N.Y./Chittenango) finished seventh in the 60M preliminaries with Potsdam fourth best time of 8.35. She then placed sixth in the finals with the program's third best time of 8.32. Wagner was also sixth in the long jump with Potsdam's third best distance of 4.81m. Senior Emily Yousey (Lacona, N.Y./Sandy Creek) was sixth in the 400M with the program's fourth best time of 1:03.86. In the 200M Yousey was 19th with Potsdam's fifth best time of 28.51. She then teamed with senior Natalie Hartmann (Farmingville, N.Y./Sachem East), sophomore Adrianna Orlando (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) and freshman Makayla Farmer (Massena, N.Y./Massena) in the 4x400M Relay to finish eighth with Potsdam's sixth best time of 4:41.54. Farmer then finished 34th in the Mile with the program's second best time of 5:58.53. Senior Raven Winters (Harrisville, N.Y./Harrisville) rounded out the leaders, finishing 17th in the 60M hurdles with Potsdam's second best time of 11.11.
 
Senior Junior Oduro (Watertown, N.Y./Watertown) was 37th in the 200M with the program's sixth best time of 24.22. Sophomore Samuel Barney (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Plattsburgh) finished sixth in the 3000M with Potsdam's sixth best time of 10:11.11. Senior Zane Moussa (Keeseville, N.Y./AuSable Valley) had the program's fifth best distance in the weight throw, placing seventh with 13.56m. Sophomore Sean Henley (Palmyra, N.Y./Palmyra-Macedon), sophomore Matthew Reed (Madrid, N.Y./Madrid-Waddington), Eli Siracusa (Penfield, N.Y./Penfield) and sophomore Connor Till (Castile, N.Y./Letchworth) were seventh in the 4x400M Relay with Potsdam's seventh best time of 4:01.86.
 
The Bears are back in action on January 25, at the St. Lawrence University Invitational.
