POTSDAM, N.Y.—SUNY Fredonia (6-6-3, 3-4 SUNAYC) scored in each half to defeat the SUNY Potsdam men's soccer team (4-9-1, 0-7) 2-0 on the Bears' Senior Day.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blue Devils broke through with a direct kick after a foul at 39:58. Senior midfielder Kye Castelluccio (Babylon, N.Y./Babylon) kicked the ball through a line of defenders into the left corner of the net.
- Fredonia held the one-goal lead at the half and a 5-1 edge in shots.
- At 64:15, sophomore defender Ryan Ameis (Clarence, N.Y./Clarence) headed home a corner kick off the foot of senior forward Chance LaCroix (Allegany, N.Y./Alleghany-Limestone) to put the Blue Devils up 2-0.

- Bears senior goalie Ian Schwartz (Amsterdam, N.Y./Broadalbin-Perth) made four saves.
