Mathieu Parent (Kapuskasing, Ontario/Renfrew Wolves) have been named SUNY Potsdam Athletes of the Week for the week ending November 22.
Magalie Parent earned her fifth career shutout, second of the season, in a 0-0 draw at Cortland on Friday. Parent made 34 saves and stopped all three attempts in the shootout. The Bears captain currently ranks third in the conference in save percentage (.946) and second in saves (175).
Mathieu Parent scored twice and had one assist in two games for the Bears. On Friday, he netted a power-play goal and an assist against No. 1 Hobart. He added a goal against No. 7 Oswego on Saturday.
