DaeLynn Alcock (Philadelphia, N.Y./Indian River) and sophomore men's hockey player
Owen Watson (Smiths Falls, Ontario/Smiths Falls Bears) have been named SUNY Potsdam Athletes of the Week for the week ending November 15.
Alcock recorded 57 points on 23-58 shooting for a .397 field-goal percentage and 28.5 points-per-game average at the Holiday Inn Express Cardinal Classic. She also had 17 rebounds (8.5 RPG), 10 steals, five blocks, and six assists. In Friday's double-overtime thriller against Utica, she racked up a career-high 33 points and earned a double-double with 10 rebounds to go with three blocks, three steals, and four assists. Alcock added 24 points, seven rebounds, seven steals, two blocks, and two assists in the Bears' dominant 75-46 win over Mount Holyoke.
Watson scored three of the Bears' seven goals, including the game-winner, in a 7-3 mauling of the Canton Kangaroos. It's the first hat trick of his career.
