POTSDAM, N.Y. – Senior men's hockey player Michael Campbell (Jersey Whalers/Toronto, Ontario) and senior women's hockey player Josie Purdy (Ontario Hockey Academy/White Lakes, Nova Scotia) have been named SUNY Potsdam Athletes of the Week for the week ending January 4.

Campbell recorded two assists, one in each of the Bears' Boston Landing Collegiate Invitational games over the weekend.

Purdy scored the game-winning goal in the Bears' 3-2 win over Anna Maria College on Saturday, earning a spot on the Bagley Invitational All-Tournament team.
