Emily Downs is entering her senior season with the Bears.

Personal: Daughter of Kelly and Christine Downs . . . majoring in Geology . . . will also compete for the Bears track team this year . . . also played field hockey at Onteora High School where she was the Okoren Award, Cease Memorial Award, Athletic Department Award and Pape Memorial Award recipient as well as a Mid-Hudson Athletic League Scholar-Athlete Award . . . also a part of the Potsdam SAAC, Venture Outdoors and the geology club…favorite show is New Girl… greatest sports accomplishment is that she holds her high schools race walking record… her favorite class at Potsdam is Sedimentology and Stratigraphy
