Sam Renaud is back for his third season with the Bears.
 
Personal: Son of Marc Renaud and Valarie Falls… majoring in Chemistry with a minor in Chemical Engineering…also competes for the Bears’ track team… played soccer and hockey at Trinity-Pawling High School… earned the Cum Laude award and the Best Underclassmen award for track and field… career ambition is to become a chemical engineer… favorite movie series is Star Wars… favorite athlete is Cole Caufield and is a fan of the Montreal Canadiens… his mother played Division 1 field hockey and basketball for Bishop University in Canada… his favorite thing about being an NCAA student-athlete is hanging out and playing sports with your team… one of his heroes is Malcolm X because his lifestyle helped change the world. His other hero is J. Cole because he is a beautiful lyricist and his lyrics are relatable… his greatest sports accomplishment was earning MVP multiple times in travel hockey and twice earning team MVP for Potsdam cross-country… his favorite hobbies include hanging out, listening to music, playing video games, and going for long drives… he chose Potsdam because he liked the track and field coach and Potsdam is a smaller school with a wonderful community… received the Chemistry award and the 3-2 program award at Potsdam
