Danny Delsol-Lowry

Danny Delsol-Lowry ’20 enters his first season as Bears assistant coach.

With the Bears, the Queens native will work on player development with a focus on developing the program’s guards.

Delsol-Lowry played four years with Potsdam helping them from just three wins in his freshman campaign to 20 wins and a berth in the SUNYAC Championship as a senior. He is the 22nd Bear to reach 1,000 points and ranks 19th in program history in scoring with 1,119 points. Delsol-Lowry also ranks fifth as Bear in steals (169), seventh in 3-pointers made (141) and 10th in assists (293). He was selected third team All-SUNYAC in his final season. The Queens native was also Potsdam’s MVP and Newcomer of the Year in 2017.

Delsol-Lowry is the all-time leading scorer at Queens High School of Teaching and led the PSAL in free-throw shooting in 2014. He also participated in the 2016 Wheelchair Classic and Mayor’s Cup. Delsol-Lowry runs his own skills development business called “dlowcamp”, where he works with prospective collegiate athletes. There, he teaches good recovery habits, sharpens guard skills and helps players get a better overall understanding of the game.

Delsol-Lowry graduated from SUNY Potsdam in 2020 with a degree in speech communications and a minor in fitness. In addition to coaching, he is also an admissions counselor for the College.
