Josh Tocays enters his first season as the Bears' assistant coach after spending the previous four years as a student assistant.
The senior speech communications major is a native of Jamaica, N.Y. At Holy Cross High School, Tocays served as varsity basketball team manager during his junior an senior years.
He has also been involved with the New York Rens since high school, first as a manager and now as a coach with the 7th and 8th grade teams. Tocays has won championships at the IS8, Rucker Park, Nike Zoom and the Kyrie/Stickland Tournaments throughout New York City. He is also an intern with the Hoop Group during the summers.
Tocays aspires to be a Division I head coach one day. He graduated from Potsdam last May.
