Former Bears men’s lacrosse long-stick midfielder/defender Nick Peryea returns for his third season on the coaching staff.
Peryea ’13 played four years on the SUNY Potsdam team, appearing in 47 games, totaling 77 groundballs and causing 40 turnovers during his career.
He was a member of three teams that reached the SUNYAC playoffs and another that appeared in the 2011 SUNYAC Championship, where he was named to the all-tournament team.
The Liverpool native, who is also a graduate of Liverpool High School, earned the Coaches’ award and Crushers’ award during his senior campaign. Peryea has also volunteered his time to teach lacrosse to fifth and sixth graders in Marcellus.
Nick graduated last May from SUNY Potsdam with a degree in communications.
