Lucy Condon returns for her final season with the Bears.
2019: started in 36 games, 31 hits, .298 batting average, six doubles, nine stolen bases and a .915 fielding average
2018: started in 30 games, 24 hits, .270 batting average, two doubles, 10 stolen bases and .875 fielding percentage
2017: started in 30 games, 23 hits, .295 batting average, three doubles, six stolen bases
Personal: Daughter of Frankie and Mike Condon … majoring in Anthropology … minoring in Medical Anthropology … career ambition is to become an anthropologist in international affairs … also a member of the Bears women’s hockey team … played softball and field hockey for St. David Catholic Secondary School . . . favorite TV show is Game of Thrones … favorite movie is Step Brothers … favorite musicians are Quinn XCII and Post Malone … favorite food is burritos … her favorite athlete is Lane Perl … favorite sports team is the Minnesota Wild . . . her aunt Jenny Condon is in the Iowa State Hall of Fame for Softball and was a four-time All-American in the National Women’s Fastpitch League. She earned gold medals in softball at the US Olympic Festival in 1994 and 1995 and in team handball in 1993 . . . favorite thing about being a NCAA athlete is making memories with her teammates . . . enjoys longboarding and playing with her dogs … favorite class at Potsdam is Medical Anthropology… her greatest sports accomplishment is being named the 2016 Provincial Top Hitter … greatest Potsdam memory is when teammate Natalie Wasielewski signed her up for karaoke at a team dinner without telling her … member of the SUNYAC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll for the second year, the President’s and Dean’s list, and she has been published in Potsdam’s Anthropology Journal
