Cara Manfredi

Cara Manfredi enters her first season with the women's basketball program.

“We are excited to welcome Cara to our staff,” said Ruckh. “Her playing experience will add a strong presence on the sideline and help our program continue to improve.”

Manfredi started her collegiate career at SUNY Geneseo, where she played for two seasons before transferring to Clarkson University to complete her career. She reached the 1,000 point-plateau as a senior during the 2014-15 campaign with the Golden Knights. In 50 games with Clarkson, Manfredi totaled 761 points and 124 3-pointers. Despite just two seasons with the Golden Knights, she ranks fourth all-time in 3-pointers and has the third-highest scoring average in program history.

Manfredi was named a Liberty League First-Team All-Star and was chosen as a Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District 3 during her senior season, while gaining Liberty League All-Academic honors.

Manfredi, a Glastonbury, Conn. native, earned her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Clarkson in May 2015 and intends to pursue a master’s in math education at Potsdam.
