Mackenzie Cole enters her second season with the Bears women's basketball staff.
The Ogdensburg native played four seasons at Keuka College and served as captain during her senior year. On the court, Cole helped the Wolves to back-to-back conference finals appearances. She was also a three-year starter for the Keuka softball team, contributing to the Wolves' 2016 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship run.
Potsdam isn’t her first coaching experience. While at Keuka she helped coach the Martin Luther King Clinic and worked the Special Olympics Unified Sports Tournament for two years. She also helped with film, scouting reports and recruiting for the Wolves, while playing for the team. During past summers, she coached basketball, softball and soccer at recreation camps in Ogdensburg. Last summer, she joined Coach Cohen to coach at SUNY Potsdam’s International Summer Basketball Camp.
Cole graduated from Keuka in May 2016 with a bachelor’s in business management with a specialization in sports management.
