Kaylen Van Wagner '17 enters her third season as assistant women's soccer coach and second as assistant women's hockey coach.

Van Wagner played four years for the Bears women's soccer and ice hockey teams. She served as the captain for both programs during her senior year. As a midfielder, Van Wagner competed in 68 career games with the soccer team and recorded 10 goals and seven assists for 27 points. On the ice, the defenseman manned the blue line in 102 career games, never missing a contest in her four seasons. She recorded two goals and 15 assists for 17 points for the Bears.
 
She excelled academically as well. Van Wagner was a three-time member of both the SUNYAC All-Academic team and ECAC West All-Academic team and a two-time SUNYAC Commissioner's List honoree.
 
In the summer of 2017, Van Wagner was the head coach of the FC Freeze U-14 and U-17 girl's teams in Canton. She worked as a counselor at the Ultimate Goal in Syracuse and coached coed soccer camps. Van Wagner also served as an assistant during Bard College's summer soccer camp as well as at Indian Mountain School in Connecticut.
