Junior Megan Johnson is the Bears’ female performer of the week. Johnson opened a long road weekend with her first career no-hitter in a 1-0 decision over North Country rival St. Lawrence. She is the second Potsdam softball player to throw a no-hitter. The Heuvelton native’s performance marks the third time in school history that a pitcher has no hit an opponent. The junior then pitched in relief against Oneonta, holding the Red Dragons scoreless in four innings on the mound.
