O’Neil was instrumental in the men’s lacrosse team clinching playoffs, starting and earning both wins in a 2-0 SUNYAC week. The Bears captain stopped a season-high 17 shots in Wednesday’s 8-5 win over Plattsburgh. He made an additional 12 saves in the 18-7 mauling of New Paltz Saturday to bring the Bears into the postseason. The goalie finished the week with 29 total saves, a .744 save percentage, and a 5.24 goals-against-average.
