Senior captain Murphy Newman (Canton, N.Y./Berkshire School) led the women's lacrosse team this week with nine points. On Tuesday, Newman scored two goals in the effort against SUNY Cortland. On Friday, Newman tied her season high with seven points, as she scored five goals and assisted on two in the victory against Canton.
