POTSDAM, N.Y.- The SUNY Potsdam volleyball team (13-9) fell to Clarkson University (17-4) Wednesday night with a score of 1-3. The Bears took the first set 25-23 before the Golden Knights took the next three sets, 14-25, 19-25 and 18-25.

Junior opposite
Rachel Topf (Eagle River, Alaska/Chugiak) led the offense with 15 kills and totaled 22 digs for the defense. Senior defensive specialist
Sloane Campbell (Scotia, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) backed the defense with 24 digs, while junior outside hitter
Kelsea Healis (Rohnert Park, Calif./Rancho Cotate) added seven digs and nine kills. Freshman outside hitter
Gabrielle Scott (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) and sophomore
Brianna Rodda (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem East) both tallied 11 digs, while Scott added another 11 kills plus three aces and Rodda picked up 36 assists.

The Bears are back in action this weekend when Potsdam competes in the Canton Tri-Match Saturday at SUNY Canton. The Bears will play Lebanon Valley at Saturday at 4 p.m. and the Roos at 6 p.m.
